More people are working from home at the moment than ever before and this is shaping how we hire and push forward with our workloads. If you do have roles to recruit for right now, you’re probably keen to know how you can do it effectively; as well as what sort of jobs people are interested in.

A report from DiscoveryOrg in a survey of C-level roles at Fortune 1000 companies in 2016 revealed that just 15% of senior management were women, while only 10% of top senior-level positions were made up of women.

Let’s face it, it’s tougher to hire right now than ever before. Employment rates are at an all-time high across the U.S. and this is putting organizations in a tricky position when it comes to sourcing top candidates.

With national employment rates continuing to climb in the U.S, hiring professionals are under intense pressure to be proactive in their hiring efforts; or risk losing out on top talent to savvier competitors.

Using social media for business and, more specifically, recruitment, is not new. But, consistently and cost-effectively attracting the best talent through social media is not as easy as some HR departments and recruitment agencies might think though.

Assess, interview, hire, repeat. And the cycle goes on. Hourly. Daily. I don’t have to tell you how hard recruiting can be. But at the end of the day, it’s always worth it. Because when you hire a person, you change their life by giving them a career and all that that affords.
